From Los Angeles to Tampa!
Tina Michelle goes bi-coastal and expands the Rhinestone Cowgirls to Tampa, FL
It happened!!!
I made the cross-country move back to my hometown of Tampa, Florida!!
In 2008 while on a retreat, I experienced an immense PULL to move out of the small town I was living in just outside of Tampa, to Los Angeles to pursue my dream of singing country music professionally. Why? I had been to Los Angeles a few times for while in my previous corporate job, and I felt an artistic energy incomparable to anything I had ever experienced! I wanted to be there.
So that’s what I did! Recently divorced, with NOTHING weighing me down (just a house to sell, haha), I made the leap! I started my own country cover band and a few years later, a country line dance team!
It’s been a whirlwind of countless unforgettable performances, lots of wins, and some losses (that’s learning!). I’m soooo grateful for all of it!
Fast-forward 10 years later to Covid times. Gig cancellations. Fear. Missing my Mom and family. This lack of work (gigs) gave me time to THINK and RE-THINK my priorities. What is important to me now?
Well, my partner and I bought a house in a quiet suburb just outside of Tampa, FL.
This fueled me with so much excitement!
I still plan on going back to Los Angeles for certain events but this move means that I can also expand the Rhinestone Cowgirls — to my hometown of Tampa, FL!
I’m so grateful for the team of line dance instructors that I’ve built in L.A. I would NOT be able to do this without them!
Stay tuned for more! And Tampa…get ready for some line dancing and unforgettable country parties!
Big hugs to all of you — clients, fans, friends and family!!
And cheers to more adventures! XO
